Four easy steps to ending floor sags

From underside of floor, locate the exact position of the sag or soft spot by having somebody above tap on the floor, with knuckles or rubber mallet as to not damage floor covering.

Pre-assemble angle plates and support arms using hex bolts, washers and nuts. Then screw brackets to the floor centering between the joists.

Tap support arms with a hammer to remove a sag or to firm up floor.

Screw support arms to joists. Make sure all fasteners are tight.
